who's the grown up homecoming queen?

i guess i am :)

friday night was our big homecoming game. i was nominated for ma pioneer along with 5 other teachers. i don't even know how i got nominated! but the chicklettes voted.

also got a super cute simi sweatshirt with "ma pioneer 2008" on the back. i'll have to take a picture of that too.

burn baby burn

the fires are back again. it is that time of year.
you know it's bad when my classroom smells like a campfire even though the door has stayed closed.
yuck.
i can't even tell you how much my lungs and nose hurt.
hooray for teaching tomorrow

by soon i meant october.
and by update i meant i would love to if i had more time.

right now my time is filled with:
1. school
2. grading labs
3. the guy
4. football games
5. my girl (who desperately needs help and i don't know what to do)
6. new friends
7. weekends away from home
8. grading more labs
9. thinking and analyzing
10. mr. strong (in case you are reading!)

sigh...
such a full life
