Notes in the key of G

he drove all the way out here...

to see me for literally 40 mins before running to work.
he had brunch with my friends and i, ate quickly, and took off.
(not before paying the bill unbeknownst to us.)

i think the boy is a keeper.

sigh...

like i was saying...about being busy...

2 weeks straight without a break!

mon: dinner for bethany's family
tue: girls night ;)
wed: dinner with the boy
thurs: lunch with strong and meaghan, meet with strong after school
fri: dinner at chris'. the boy got to meet my people. the puppy got to use my arm as a chew toy. it was so fun!
sat: santa barbara with the boy - which of course involved crab on the pier for lunch, wine tasting in solvang, some cards at chumash, and then dinner at my most favorite restaurant pascuccis
sun: lunch at pepperdine with the boy (so so relaxing). dinner and grey's at lynettes. therapeutic spa...need i say more?

mon: life groups start back up! ya to see lynn and the ladies!
tue: house hunting, dinner at alisa'a
wed: back-to-school night...otherwise known as the longest day everrrrrrrrr
thurs: dr appt., dinner with the boy
fri: nap because apparently i'm worn out! hang out and watch a movie with the friends and the boy
sat: girls day to celebrate alisa's birthday :) pedicure, lunch, movie. ya! dinner with the boy to celebrate him being great at what he does
sun: church, celebrate alisa's birthday!!

woa. i'm tired just typing all that! i'm so so blessed to have this life.

september 11

yesterday was a very full day. busy at school. busy after school with appointments. a home football game. and then a conversation.

but i did not forget.

just thought it was worth repeating!

grateful

so many things to be grateful for...

1. a strong support system. friends who love me, care for me, and want to see me happy.

2. the gift of teaching. and amazing students. seriously. i love my job.

3. inspiring sermons that make me think.

4. students who have already graduated and come back to visit anyways. such great conversation with such a great girl!


5. emails that broke my heart. but in hindsight are actually love letters from god.
