and frustrating
and paralyzing
and dibilitating
and confusing
and the source of countless hours of tears and questions.
and yet we still let it happen. even if we know better. even if we are rational. even if we know it doesn't make sense.
i'm definitely coming back to revisit this one...
My reply could vary based on what the 'it' in question is. Is the 'it' fear itself? Or is 'it' the thing we fear? And if so, what is the thing we fear? If it = fear, then we do it happens because we are humans living in an imperfect world. But if it is *something* that we fear--for example, allowing ourselves to love--then we allow it to happen, despite all those things, because it's worth it.
