in my own little world

i came to the realization yesterday that i'm starting to enjoy spending time by myself.

wha...??? me??? enjoying alone time???

weird.

but i really like reading, surfing the internet, driving and singing. :)

don't get me wrong...i love socializing! i really do! maybe that's part of the reason why i'm enjoying my alone time so much lately. because i spend so much of my day giving and giving and giving to other people. maybe it's time for me to give back a little to myself.

the 5 at 5 (even though now it's really 5:12)

1. boy am i tired today! the kiddies are all taking tests tomorrow. easy! but that means that the day before is a tough one for me because all i do is review, review, review.

love Love LOVE this book! her sarcasm is awesome! it actually makes me laugh out loud. and although i've read it before, it's like i'm reading it with new eyes again. more morsels of insight and thoughts to ponder.

3. unfortunately, i'm reading the book again. the book with the title, "how to be happy, dammit" because frankly...i'm just not that much. i don't know why. and if i could i would figure it out. darn it. tips???

i can't wait to see this movie!!

fear

it's overwhelming
and consuming
and scary
and frustrating
and paralyzing
and dibilitating
and confusing
and the source of countless hours of tears and questions.

and yet we still let it happen. even if we know better. even if we are rational. even if we know it doesn't make sense.

i'm definitely coming back to revisit this one...
