i've been in the process of updating my wardrobe. when i was looking through my closet and noticed that there were pieces in there from when i was student teaching...circa 2005...i thought maybe i should replace a few items. plus, who doesn't love spring clothing??
now, i don't have a tripod or a remote like her so i can't actually model the goodies. but i can still share my stash with you! ;)

tried these on at the gap and finally understand what people were talking about. i feel like they're a bit pricey at $40 for flats...but the color was that perfect peachy color i was looking for. and the fact that they are flats that actually have a sole to them sold me.
now...i was shopping at the americana on monday with lindsay.
this place is pretty amazing...and gorgeous! it's this beautiful place in glendale that is a mixture of shopping (both casual and high class), fountain shows that are minis of the bellagio, movie theater, dining, and just really great landscaping.
this is the only (semi) local gilly hicks. and they were having a 40% off sale! what?! it's like they knew i was coming!

great little summer dress. love the blue floral pattern against the white. super fresh looking! again, something that i could imagine wearing while vacationing in hawaii...(hint! hint!)
fun little cover up. and at $14 how can you say no to a cute cardi with little bows?! you just can't!
as a petite (sometimes girly) girl, i just can't pass up floral and ruffles. and blue? had to pick it up!
my tanks needed an update as well so i also grabbed
