Notes in the key of G

Wish I could do a proper update. (if you follow me on Facebook you've already seen a few pictures!)
Just know that we're having a great time! Lot of fun, lots of sun (a little too much for Scott...poor guy), and lots of relaxing.
Snorkeling yesterday followed up with the spa today. :)

scott really enjoys going to the movies. i really enjoy going to the movies with scott. so it's a win-win situation. i was just looking at fandango and realized that we have watched A LOT of movies lately!

of course i had to see this one! as a high school teacher, i did find parts of it funny. as a high school teacher who had to spend a year dealing with an alcoholic...there were parts that hit too close to home. i'd probably have found it funnier if i wasn't able to relate so much!

went and saw this one with jen. laughed. my. ass. off. i really enjoyed it. there were definitely parts that grossed me out but the "meaning" was worth it. it's totally the female version of the hangover. which leads me to...

 

oh. my. gosh. seriously. the monkey was too good. other than that? it's the hangover. what else can i say?

this was much better than i thought it was going to be. mostly because i thought it was going to stink. i may have said "oh brother!" a few times. and what? but scott wanted to see it. and there you go.

going into this movie i said, "i bet there's going to be some explosions...a hot girl with big lips....some explosions....machines that talk....and some more explosions." guess what? i was right! weird. i will say there were these two little guys in the movie that were hilarious and totally made it better! i think it had to do with the fact that they were so funny and one of them had total einstein hair.

right??

this was really good. really. scott and i watched the "first" movie afterwards just to get everything to click. it was really well done. if you like this series, you should definitely see it!
